COMMON GROUND STRAWBERRY PROJECT
We have some exciting things happening in our class right now! We were accepted to join the BC Agriculture in the classroom project called Common Ground a Strawberry Project. We were sent strawberry plugs and roots and we will be growing strawberry plants that are Indigenous to the area as well as some Everbearing plants that we will harvest in June. Check out our Instagram page for some pictures. Please sign the notice that came home if you are willing to give permission for Agriculture in the Classroom to use some of the pictures I have been taking.
HATCHING CHICKS
We are in the process of hatching chicks! We have 15 more days to wait. Stay tuned for some pictures that will be posted to our Instagram account.
JERSEY DAY
Tomorrow is Jersey Day. Students can wear casual clothes with a jersey. If they don’t want to participate they can wear their uniform.
RIVERDALE DAIRY FIELD TRIP
Next Thursday April 25th is our field trip to my farm. I am still waiting for a couple permissions slips. If you have not sent it in could you please do that ASAP. If you are in need of a new form please let me know.
Intermediate Track Meet in May: Permission forms came home with information about our Intermediate Track Meet that takes place on Thursday, May 2nd at South Surrey Athletic Park. If your student is in Grade 4 could you please return that form ASAP.
