Beauty and the Beast
Tomorrow is our field trip to watch Beauty and the Beast. A field trip to see “Beauty and the Beast” is not just a delightful outing but also an opportunity for students to witness the transformative power of storytelling, experience the excitement of live theater, and explore timeless themes of love, acceptance, and self-discovery. By immersing themselves in this enchanting world, students can develop a deeper appreciation for the arts and the valuable lessons they impart.
Please remember we are leaving at 9:05 so please be on time.
The students will be wearing their uniforms tomorrow.

Zoo Field Trip
Tomorrow is our field trip to the Greater Vancouver Zoo. It is supposed to be very warm!! Please ensure that your child has a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and appropriate footwear. I ask that you do not send them in flip flops or slides as they will be doing a lot of walking and playing.
We are leaving the school at 9:05 to be at the zoo for 10:00. Please arrive on time otherwise we may miss our train ride.
Fraser River Discovery Center
On Monday, the Fraser River Discovery Center came to give a presentation on climate change and how that is effecting the amount of flooding that happens with the Fraser River. The students got to plan a community around the river trying to help limit damage from flooding while preserving salmon spawning grounds. They also experimented with creating a river and dike with riprap and testing their design against the powerful “river”. This was an excellent learning experience!!
I’m also including some pictures from the farm field trip. That was a GREAT DAY!! Thank you to all the parents that came out. it was wonderful to share a part of my life that is so important to me and my family.
Dairy Farm Field trip
For the parents that are meeting us at the farm, we will be starting out at my house to play with the animals for a bit, have lunch, and then heading over to the farm. If you need the address to the house please email me and I will respond immediately. If you know where the farm is then our house is the beige rancher next to the blue house by that farm.
See you there at 11:00. We will be leaving the school at 10:40.
Library
