On Wednesday I will be testing the students on their memory verse:

Colossians 3: 12-15, 17

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

On Friday we are going ice skating. Please remember to send a helmet.

The missions team is selling poinsettias on Thursday, Nov 30, and Friday, Dec 1, after school for $15. This is a beautiful way to support the team and make your house look festive!!

Good afternoon,

We have been working to finish up a few things in class this week. Students have had a significant amount of time to work on their science reports and bible work. The science reports are on an animal from a chosen biome. They were supposed to researched, took notes, and wrote paragraphs. A few students were not able to finish so it was sent home today. Please return at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions please let me know.

Tomorrow is Knight Day and Stuffy Friday.

Hot Lunch tomorrow for those who ordered.

Ice Skating Tomorrow

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow we are going ice skating. Our skate time is from 11:00-12:00. Students can wear play clothes and must bring a helmet (they will not be allowed to skate without it). I would also suggest bringing a pair of gloves. Thank you!

Parent Teacher Interviews

I am so excited to meet with all of you tomorrow. If you did not get a chance to sign up for a time slot, I have opened up a few extra times. I hope to meet with all of you. If tomorrow does not work, I am also available after school during the week. You can email me to set up a time for another day. The link for tomorrow is below.

Jars Needed, Please!

Planning ahead for a Christmas craft, we need to collect some glass jars! Could you save your glass jars for us? Pickle jars, olive jars, etc. 1L size (ish) is best. It is better if there is no writing on it, so mason jars might not be the best. You can send them in as you have them and we will collect them in the classroom.

Thank you!

Skating Permission Slips

We are looking forward to going skating in the coming weeks. Permission slips went home for this fieldtrip a week or so ago. Our first day to go is next week, and we still have quite a few permission slips missing.

I have given a new form to any student that has not yet returned theirs. Could you make sure to sign it and send it back (with money, if you need skate rentals).

Thanks!
