Final Week

We made it to the final week before Christmas Break!! WE ARE TIRED!!! I just wanted to remind you of a few things this week.

This week is Christmas Sweater & Dress Up:  students can dress up in Christmas sweaters, hats, and Christmas wear all week. It is casual Christmas clothing. They can wear casual bottoms and whatever shoes they like.

This is the last week to bring in your items for Highroad Helps. Thank you to those that have already donated.

Thank you so much to the parents that brought in goodies for our Christmas Countdown days. It has been a lot of fun.

The students are to come to school in their Sunday best on Thursday for the concert. The concert will run from 9:30-10:30 and then the students are dismissed for break after the concert from their classroom.

Gingerbread houses…. shhhh

Our (SURPRISE) gingerbread house day is on Thursday. PLEASE KEEP THIS SECRET, as we open up our Christmas activity as a surprise each morning.

If you are able to send in a couple things for this, we still need:

-2 boxes of graham crackers

-assorted candy

-royal icing

If you are able to send things in, please do so tomorrow, or let me know if you will be sending it in on Thursday morning. (Mrs. Orrell or I will run to the store on Wednesday night to pick up whatever we are missing).

THANKS!

Christmas Concerts

Hello Parents!

It is almost time for Christmas concerts and I am so excited to see what the students have been working so hard on.

The Intermediate concert (grade 4s) is this Friday at 1:30. Please come! Students are asked to wear ugly or nice Christmas sweaters (or dresses), or dress like a caroler.

The Primary (grade 3s) concert is next Thursday (Dec 21) at 9:30. Parents and family are also welcome at this concert! Students are asked to wear their Christmas best for the concert.

Just a reminder that the last day of school before Christmas is next THURSDAY and students will be dismissed right after the primary concert, at 10:30.

Looking forward to the nest week and a bit of Christmas fun with your precious children.

Monday

Thank you so much to those bringing goodies for our surprise pancake lunch on Monday. If you could send those items with your child in the morning on Monday. We plan to do the pancakes for lunch so no need to send a lunch with your child. Hope you are having a great weekend.

Highroad Helps

This year we are collecting food, money, and warm adult clothing for the Salvation Army. You will notice 3 large decorated barrels in the front lobby. If you have items that you are able to donate you can place them in the bins. If you have money to donate you can do that at the office. The picture below is a list of things that we are looking to collect. If the whole school brings in 1000 or more items we will be having a cozy causal day. Thank you for your support!!

Christmas Activities

The time has flown by, we are now 2 weeks away from a much deserved Christmas break. We have started our Christmas Countdown today. This is my favorite time to build memories with and for your children. I am putting a list of things that I could use some help with. I know that is is a very busy time of year for everyone so please don’t feel pressured. If you are able to contribute some of these items please comment with what you are bringing, so that others can see what has already been provided. You can send stuff in as soon as you have it, we have a fridge we can keep it in.

This is a list of what we are doing on each day with items that we will need. PLEASE KEEP THIS A SECRET!!!!
