Every Friday is Knight Day. Students may wear any bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts) with a Knight shirt, and any shoes (if wearing sandals they must have a backstrap).
Fridays in our class is also Stuffy Friday. Students may bring 1 stuffy (not too large please) to school for the day.
Every Friday we will be doing some outdoor learning in the school garden. We will be going rain or shine so please bring a coat on chilly days. This will be from 9-10.
I cant tell you how excited I am to be your child’s teacher this year! It is going to be a great year. I am sure you have a few questions on how things are going to be done. A 3/4 split is an interesting one as it is half in primary and half in intermediate. I am going to do my best to answer a few of those questions in this post.
Music: The grade 4’s will go to music with Mrs. Dekoff and the greade 3’s will go to music with Mrs. Shinness. The decision to do it this way was to ensure that the grade 3’s don’t miss out on their last primary Christmas concert. We also want to make sure that the grade 4’s dont miss out on any of the exciting experiences that I’m sure they have been looking forward to.
Chapel: The grade 3’s will go to primary chapel on Tuesdays and the 4’s will go to Intermediate Chapel on Wednesdays.
The grade 4’s will have all their own supplies and I wanted to give the grade 3’s the opportunity to bring in something of their own if they wish to do so. I have all the supplies the grade 3’s will need but if they want to bring in their own pencil, pencil cases, markers, or anything else, they are more than welcome to do that.
Important Information
We are a nut free classroom this year. Please do not send anything with nuts including nutella.
Our gym days are on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please send your childs P.E. strip and gym shoes as soon as possible.
Our Library day is Tuesday.
