We had a great week! The students worked on running a pet shelter for math, spelling, story writing, the Gospel of John, and our duck research projects. We took a trip to the garden to work in the outdoor space, it was so wonderful to be outside in the sunshine! It was fun to see the students in their superhero costumes on May 4th. It was a big hit.

This coming Thursday is our field trip to the farm, so far it looks like we are going to have nice weather! Pray that the forecast does not change 🙂 Please dress for the weather and wear boots.

Some students wanted to work on their math booklet at home, this is completely optional, it is not homework. I do ask that they return them on Monday though.

Pickles and Duckleberry Finn

Pickles and Duckleberry Finn have outgrown their brooder box! I was amazed at how quickly they grew and how large they started out! I will be taking them home this afternoon to put them in a larger area so they can move around more easily. The students will get to see them once more at my house on the field trip next Thursday.

We picked names for our ducklings, the black one is named Pickles and the yellow one is Duckleberry Finn. The students are somewhat distracted today! If you would like to come and see the ducklings you are more than welcome to pop in after school.
