We have started spelling this week and some of you may be wondering why the words seem very simple. The first few spelling test will be our “no excuse words”. What this means is that the students will be expected to always spell those correctly in all the work they do all year. After we have completed the no excuse word lists then we will be moving on to more difficult words.
I am almost finished testing the students reading and we will be starting our home reading program. I will send out more details about this when we launch it on Monday.
Thursday is picture day, please have your student in the correct uniform pieces. They are allowed to wear any of the appropriate uniform pieces. I have noticed that some students have been wearing socks that are not part of the uniform, please ensure that they are wearing correct colours. Thank you!
