Welcome to Grade 2 and 3!

I hope that everyone had a restful and relaxing summer holidays.  I am so honoured to be your child’s teacher this year, and so excited to see what God has in store for us.  I will be communicating with you through my blog.  You can find all the pertinent information in regard to our class here. 

      Please send running shoes with your child for P.E., they will remain in your child’s locker all year.  Please also send socks if they choose to wear sandals while the summer uniform is still in effect.  Our P.E. days are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Grade 3’s will need to have a P.E. uniform. Library is on Wednesday.  

       Spelling tests will begin the second week of school.  I will post the list on the blog and students will be writing the words in their planners on Tuesdays. 

      We will be working on a bible memory verse weekly.  Please practice reciting the verse with your child.  You can find the bible verse on the blog.

      The students will have planners, please sign them and send them to school each day.
